Un jour il a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 \u00e0 un mariage au N\u00e9pal pour pr\u00eacher et c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie. C\u2019est avec joie qu\u2019il a accompli ce service et b\u00e9ni le couple qui s\u2019engageait dans cette nouvelle vie \u00e0 deux. Les jeunes mari\u00e9s ont dit qu\u2019ils voulaient \u00e9migrer en Inde apr\u00e8s leur mariage, car il y avait de meilleurs emplois l\u00e0-bas. Le pasteur Shiva savait que beaucoup de N\u00e9palais sont trait\u00e9s comme des moins que rien en Inde, mais il comprenait leurs raisons. En effet, au N\u00e9pal il est vraiment difficile de trouver un emploi bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9, aussi nombreux sont les N\u00e9palais \u00e9migrant en Inde.      <\/p><p>Quelque temps apr\u00e8s, Shiva assistait \u00e0 une conf\u00e9rence chr\u00e9tienne en Inde qui se tenait tout pr\u00e8s d\u2019un quartier rouge. Soudain, quelqu\u2019un a cri\u00e9 derri\u00e8re lui: \u00abPasteur Shiva!\u00bb Il s\u2019est retourn\u00e9 et a vu une femme qu\u2019il n\u2019a pas reconnue au premier abord. Elle lui a dit: \u00abTu ne me reconnais pas? Tu \u00e9tais \u00e0 mon mariage et tu nous as mari\u00e9s.\u00bb Shiva a alors eu un d\u00e9clic et a reconnu la N\u00e9palaise. Elle lui a dit: \u00abMon mari m\u2019a \u00e9pous\u00e9e uniquement pour me vendre \u00e0 des prox\u00e9n\u00e8tes en Inde.\u00bb    <\/p><p>Le pasteur Shiva s\u2019est efforc\u00e9 avec prudence de sortir cette femme du milieu de la prostitution et de la ramener chez ses parents au N\u00e9pal. Puis Dieu lui a parl\u00e9. Son appel n\u2019\u00e9tait pas d\u2019\u00eatre pasteur d\u2019une \u00e9glise, mais d\u2019aider les victimes de la traite des \u00eatres humains et de l\u2019esclavage, aussi bien les femmes que les hommes. Shiva a m\u00eame r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 \u00e9tablir de bonnes relations avec la police, qui n\u2019a pas les ressources n\u00e9cessaires pour s\u2019occuper du probl\u00e8me de la prostitution. Lorsque Shiva apprend l\u2019existence d\u2019un cas, il se rend sur place et lib\u00e8re prudemment la personne concern\u00e9e.
