Pour la plupart, c\u2019\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois qu\u2019ils d\u00e9couvraient une autre culture. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 h\u00e9berg\u00e9s dans notre centre de formation en Bulgarie. Une partie de la mission \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e d\u2019activit\u00e9s pratiques telles que travaux dans les champs, nettoyage de vieux bois et de fen\u00eatres cass\u00e9es, r\u00e9paration de sentiers p\u00e9destres. Une jardini\u00e8re agricole qualifi\u00e9e a r\u00e9am\u00e9nag\u00e9 le syst\u00e8me d\u2019irrigation. Le partenaire local de l\u2019A\u00c9M \u00e9tait vraiment enchant\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9nergie de cette jeune \u00e9quipe, car le centre dispose de beaucoup de terres, mais il n\u2019y a pas assez de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre pour les entretenir.      <\/p>\n<p>Le matin, les jeunes ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 des rencontres et \u00e9cout\u00e9 des r\u00e9cits passionnants, notamment celui d\u2019un homme originaire de Turquie, seul musulman de sa famille apr\u00e8s la conversion de tous ses proches au christianisme. Finalement, lui aussi a \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9 par le Seigneur. Aujourd\u2019hui, il travaille au centre de formation et se passionne pour les projets de notre partenaire.  <\/p>\n<p>La pri\u00e8re \u00e9tait un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de cette mission. \u00c0 plusieurs reprises, la jeune \u00e9quipe s\u2019est rendue sur une colline voisine pour prier pour le pays ou a organis\u00e9 des marches de pri\u00e8re \u00e0 travers le village. <\/p>\n<p>Le centre a pour vision d\u2019atteindre les peuples turcs musulmans. Ces peuples vivent le long de l\u2019ancienne route de la soie, des Balkans \u00e0 la Sib\u00e9rie en passant par l\u2019Asie centrale. La Bulgarie compte plus d\u2019un million de Turcs, qui constituent la plus grande minorit\u00e9 du pays. Au centre de l\u2019A\u00c9M, des \u00e9quipes sont form\u00e9es et envoy\u00e9es vers diff\u00e9rents peuples turcs.
