Zanzibar: <\/strong>L\u2019avenir d\u2019Asha* \u00e9tait tout trac\u00e9 par sa famille, mais tout a chang\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Elle est n\u00e9e en Tanzanie. Depuis des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, sa famille est musulmane. Elle vivait depuis son enfance avec son grand-p\u00e8re, sorcier du village. Il lui a confi\u00e9 de petites missions et l\u2019a initi\u00e9e \u00e0 son travail. Un jour, elle h\u00e9riterait de son m\u00e9tier. Toutefois Asha se sentait mal \u00e0 l\u2019aise \u00e0 cette id\u00e9e. Certaines des choses qu\u2019il lui a montr\u00e9es l\u2019ont effray\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Juste apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9cole, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e en mariage \u00e0 un homme, qui \u00e9tait \u00e9galement sorcier. Asha a eu un enfant de lui. Quand l\u2019enfant a eu deux ans, l\u2019homme s\u2019est enfui et l\u2019a emmen\u00e9. Depuis, elle n\u2019a plus jamais revu son enfant.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s l\u2019accouchement, Asha a souffert de troubles menstruels. Les saignements duraient \u00e0 chaque fois plus de deux semaines. \u00c0 cela s\u2019ajoutaient des douleurs d\u2019estomac, des naus\u00e9es, des troubles du sommeil et des cauchemars. Durant trois ans et demi, aucune m\u00e9decine moderne ou traditionnelle n\u2019a pu l\u2019aider.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9but 2022, Asha a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Zanzibar et a trouv\u00e9 un emploi. Son patron \u00e9tait chr\u00e9tien. Apprenant sa maladie, il lui a sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u2019aller \u00e0 son \u00e9glise le dimanche afin que l\u2019on prie pour elle. Au d\u00e9but, Asha ne l\u2019a pas cru et ne voulait pas y aller. Elle \u00e9tait sceptique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard du christianisme. Toutefois, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une amie, elle a fini par rejoindre l\u2019\u00e9glise.<\/p>\n

Durant la pri\u00e8re, il s\u2019est pass\u00e9 quelque chose qu\u2019Asha ne pouvait pas s\u2019expliquer. C\u2019\u00e9tait comme si une force \u00e9trange s\u2019emparait d\u2019elle. Elle a senti que la maladie avait disparu et a ressenti la paix. Depuis, elle fr\u00e9quente r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement la communaut\u00e9 et n\u2019a plus de douleurs, de nuits blanches ou de cauchemars.<\/p>\n
